Awarded Research Seed Grant from the Portage Health Foundation

Our lab was awarded an one-year research seed grant by the Portage Health Foundation aiming at leveraging the unique reduction-oxidation (redox) chemistry found in the mussel adhesive proteins to promote wound healing. This grant will also enable our lab to establish collaboration with Dr. Xiaoqing Tang’s lab.

Ameya gave invited talk at the 2016 Adhesive & Sealant Council Spring Convention & Expo

Ameya traveled to New Orleans to give an invited talk entitled “Moisture resistant smart adhesive based on pH dependent reversible catechol-boronic acid complexation” at the Adhesive & Sealant Council (ASC) 2016 Spring Convention & Expo. ASC is a North American trade association comprised of more than 130 U.S. companies in the adhesive and sealant industry.
