Research Projects:

I am evaluating preliminary biocompatibility of the mussel inspired adhesive using in vitro cell culture and subcutaneous implantation models. Additionally, I am also working on developing nitric oxide releasing polymers for the development of antimicrobial biomaterials for potential application in soft tissue repair such as hernia repair. Another part of my work is capturing FE-SEM and AFM images for our materials.
